About The Site

splashy is my first serious personal site. I have an older Neocities site, but I was too inexperienced with HTML and CSS at the time to make much of anything. splashy was created sometime in August 2023. That makes it about old. I primarily use it to post blogs about a wide range of topics. My blog is loosely centered around both technology and journalling my life and thoughts, but I've written blogs about games, reviews, changelogs as well as some satirical and ironic posts.

At this point I consider splashy to be a largely complete project. The layout and skeleton of my site will largely stay the same, but I may still occasionally create some posts.

This website is in the public domain! The site used to be under a duel licensing scheme, but I decided to switch to CC0, which reserves no rights. Feel free to do whatever you want with the site's files. However, it'd be cool to credit my stuff if you make any derivatives of it. Just remember that copying is an act of love and stuff.

I was going to have a box with a list of shit about me but it felt egotistical as hell. I dunno, just read my posts.

My Setup

My main OS of choice is Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2021. It just werks™, and doesn't require as much wrangling as other Windows 10 editions to make it a decent experience. I'm planning of staying on this version for a while. I'll "upgrade" to Windows 11 IoT LTSC later on. That is if I don't switch over to some Linux distro.

This setups breaks like every 2nd time I update LMAO

Nowadays the only community I regularly use is Agora Road's Macintosh Cafe (Profile). You might find me on the Nekoweb Discord though.
